Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the website and services provided by Leaf & Glass Florarium, a UK-based studio at 12 Fern Street, London W1T 3AB. By placing an order, requesting a quote or using our services you agree to these terms. We provide handcrafted florariums, delivery, installation and maintenance throughout the United Kingdom. Contracts for bespoke design or corporate installations are formed when we issue a written confirmation or invoice following your acceptance of a proposal. Where goods are sold online, descriptions and prices are provided on our product pages; we reserve the right to correct any pricing or typographical errors prior to accepting an order. Payment terms, deposit requirements and any bespoke timelines will be stated in the proposal or invoice. If you do not agree with these terms you should not place an order or engage our services. For clarity, our terms do not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer protection law where applicable.

Services, Orders and Payments

We accept orders and commission requests through the website, email and telephone. For bespoke work, a written proposal outlining scope, timeline and costs will be provided; the contract is formed once you accept the proposal and any required deposit is received. For product sales, payment must be completed at checkout or as specified on the invoice. We accept major payment methods as shown at the point of sale. Pricing on the site is in British pounds (GBP) and may exclude delivery or installation fees; any additional charges will be communicated at the time of ordering. Delivery and installation dates are estimates and depend on vessel availability, production lead times and courier schedules. We will endeavour to meet agreed dates and will notify you of any material delays. If you cancel an order for bespoke goods after production has started, reasonable cancellation charges may apply to cover materials, labour and any third-party costs. Refund and return policies for stock products are detailed on the Products page and comply with UK consumer law where applicable.

Delivery, Risk & Returns

Risk in purchased goods passes to you upon delivery. We take reasonable care in packaging and shipping to avoid damage; where white-glove installation is provided, we remain responsible for safe setup until the handover. Inspect items on receipt and notify us within 48 hours of any damage or missing items, providing photographs and a brief description. Returns of standard stocked goods are accepted in accordance with our returns policy and UK consumer regulations: items must be returned in original condition within the stated return window. Custom or bespoke pieces are non-returnable except where faulty or not as described. For consumables or perishable plant material, replacement or credit will be provided if defects arise that are our responsibility. Delivery charges may be refundable in the event of a proven fault or mistake on our part. For corporate projects additional terms regarding staging, insurance and access will be set out in the project proposal to ensure clarity and risk allocation during installations and dismantles.

Limitation of Liability & Warranties

We provide florariums and horticultural services with reasonable skill and care. Where goods or services are supplied, our liability is limited to the purchase price paid for the relevant goods or the fees paid for the relevant services. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect, incidental or consequential losses including loss of profits, loss of business or loss of goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, fraud or other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. For plant health, we provide care guides and optional maintenance packages; however living displays are subject to natural variation and environmental factors, and while we design for resilience we cannot guarantee indefinite plant survival. Warranties for supplied goods and services will be set out in your invoice or project proposal and are subject to correct use and adherence to provided care guidance.

Intellectual Property

All designs, images and content on this website are owned by Leaf & Glass Florarium or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our express written consent. For bespoke projects, we retain the right to feature non-confidential images of completed works in our portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing. If you require exclusive intellectual property arrangements for a commissioned project, please raise this during the proposal stage so appropriate contractual terms can be included.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the services we provide should first be referred to our customer service team at [email protected] for informal resolution. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, parties may agree to mediation. If litigation is necessary, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection legislation. We aim to resolve issues fairly and promptly and work with clients to reach practical outcomes for commissions and service matters.
